This was very interesting to do, look how alive those eyes turned out! Firstly, to achieve the correct proportion, I drew the toucan in graphite, then applied very bright colors accompanied by a more agitated brushwork, finally, I controlled the edges and cleaned up here and there. It took me about 9 - 12 hours to complete the painting.
